Best praise vs top criticism for Matrix T75
“Nothing you listed is reliable or enjoyable to run on. I have a Matrix T75 and it is both fun and enjoyable to run on. It’s well built. No weird noises. I have had it over a year and outside of routine maintenance, not a single issue. 600+mi logged. Before that, I had a Nordictrack 2750 and BowfexT22, both were poorly built and NOT enjoyable to run on. I will say this…the T22 was waaaaayy better than NT2750. The NT is a machine that cannot be taken serious at all.”
“I was close to throwing down on a Matrix T75 with the 22 inch screen. In fact, I was at the showroom yesterday, semi-ready to do a deal. I wish so much I could get a True Performance 8000 instead but we don’t seem to have any local dealers. The place that sells the Matrix has Trues listed on their website, but they are 100% sold out. Every single one of them. I bet True pulled out of the dealer relationship. They never even mentioned True to me as an option yesterday. They have Matrix, Horizon, Sole and a bunch of bullshit including NordicTrack and Bowflex. They told me that for what I need it for (approx 200k a week between me and my daughter), there was only one option - the T75. I didn’t even know they sold True until today when I tried again to hunt down a local True dealer. I’m going to call there tomorrow (they are closed Sunday) to get the scoop. I bet True canned them. The Matrix are nice but that whole iFit thing is eye rolling. When you take that away, together with the overpriced console that will be obsolete in no time, what are you left with? This whole treadmill purchase is turning into a massive chore for me. It’s no longer fun. It’s this big confusing maze, where you can’t rely on any YouTube videos for insight because they are all shills or idiots. I have never seen such an abysmal lack of credible reviews for any product, period. Treadmills are apparently the product review haven of shills and morons. I can’t think of a single YouTube treadmill review channel that’s credible. Do you know of any? Does anyone? Please? Anyway, I don’t know about the True 1000 or the T50, but man, do I want to buy a True Performance 8000 over the T75. I’m going to patiently wait and see if True emerges as a product offering with one of the local dealers. I live in a city of 1.5 million people. It’s ridiculous there’s no True dealer here. Or Landice for that matter. Pathetic.”
