Best praise vs top criticism for Sperax Walking Pad
“Glad you found a good deal with DeerRun. It sounds like you scored with the Q1 mini at that price, and the fact that it comes in pink is a bonus (my wife would change ours from red and black if she could!). For anyone still deciding, I highly recommend checking out the [product datasheet](https://www.reddit.com/r/WalkingPads/comments/1exngrr/walking_pad_product_list_all_specs_included/) on the Walkingpad subreddit. It offers a super helpful comparison of major brands and models, along with their specs, making it easy to find the perfect walking pad for your needs and budget.”
“With regular daily use, you'll likely get 3-7 years out of a belt and deck on a cheaper treadmill, and possibly 10 yrs or more on a more premium machine. At that point, when belts and deck are worn - you can either get it repaired with new belts and deck, restoring the low friction surface and it will run nicely again. If this is a cheap walking pad for wal-mart $500 special - they are generally not worth repairing unless you do the work yourself. Sadly, most people ignore the warning signs (if any) of a worn belt and deck and continue walking and living with the slipping and slowing, and eventually wear out their motor or blow the controller. at that point the treadmill needs new belts, deck and motor or controller (or even both!) - due mainly to parts cost this means many treadmills will not be worth repairing. Higher end treadmills are much more worthwhile repairing. I have a client with a 12 year old Precor. she is a competitive marathoner. it took her 12 years to wear out her belts, deck and motor. replaced all with factory parts. it was a $1500 repair but the treadmill is running almost good as new and i won't be surprised if she makes it to the 20 year mark. My personal unit is a costco special Nordictrack "commercial" (which means residential ironically) from 2008 - on its 2nd belt and deck, 2 front rollers, 3 motors! - only worth repairing because parts have been cheap and I repaired it myself... if it were a client's treadmill I'd advise to replace rather than repair it. so, to answer your question: it depends - did you buy a good treadmill to begin with?”
