Best praise vs top criticism for Lodge Classic Cast Iron Skillet 12-Inch
“I'm assuming you're from the Philippines, so getting a 12" Lodge for the same price as someone in America is quite remarkable. After adding any costs for bulk shipping halfway across the globe or tariffs and the like to come to the same price for me on Amazon is quite a good deal. There's plenty of guides here or on youtube for seasoning you can look into. Some prefer modern cooking oils. Some say, this worked for grandma, it'll work for me. You gotta make that decision for yourself. If you want a smooth interior there are plenty of things here or youtube again to assist you with sanding the interior cooking surface. If you would want that anyway. All in all. Its your pan man, do what you want with it and enjoy.”
“I did sand down my 12" lodge, and yes, take a bit longer to build up a thick seasoning, but you'll get there eventually, I hated the scraping sound of the rough surface”
