Best praise vs top criticism for Vintage Griswold Skillet
“This was after Wagner bought them out, and then Wagner was bought out by GHC. The manufacturing period is correct this would have been made between the 70's-80's. Having it with the glass lid is a nice find. These aren't as collectible as pre-buyout Griswold's, but it's still a very nice piece”
“Search eBay for "Griswold 314" and eventually you'll find that one single paddle for sale (like [this recently sold one](https://www.ebay.com/itm/396566086810)). You're shooting for an average price of $50 including shipping for the single paddle. I did not see any at the moment, but there are a [couple "buy it now" lots](https://www.ebay.com/itm/267267421237) for both paddles without the base. [This one in particular](https://www.ebay.com/itm/177212984671) looks like it is missing the spring handles and eye bolts (which you don't need). You might message the seller and ask about the handles. If they do not come with the paddles, you could offer something less than what they are asking for and see if they bite. Even at the current price, you could buy the paddles, replace your broken one, and try to sell the other undamaged paddle to recoup some of your cost.”
