Best praise vs top criticism for Lodge Cast Iron Reversible Grill/Griddle
“I struggled to use cast iron at first. I had two problems. First was too short of a preheat which was an easy fix. Next was the seasoning on my most used skillet wouldn’t stay on. While most of my small assortment of CI was fine, I ended up sanding down that skillet and it’s been great ever since. I just picked up a $25 Lodge griddle (8 or 10”), gave it a quick wash, and cooked pancakes then burgers without an issue thanks to having learned better heat control.”
“Absolutely but I have the big lodge griddle. Works perfectly and I can make like six at a time. So the kids can all eat at the same time. Personally, I hate pancakes but I make them all the time because the kids like.”
