You can actually emulate sRGB in your graphics control panel if the monitor sRGB mode is shit, should at least be better. I tried it and it looks better than both monitor sRGB mode and just better overall compared to not setting that in the gfx control panel. I realized I had the wrong colors either way: sRGB mode was washed out and non-sRGB mode was too satured: as I noticed when I did the sRGB emulate in CP colors looked more correct and yet not washed out as with sRGB monitor mode. See this article under "ways to emulate sRGB mode" and it refers to AMD control panel trick, simply enable custom color and DISABLE automatic color temperature, and that is then sRGB. That’s too bad. Dedicated modules are far better than the software solution. I’ve had multiple dedicated modules (PG348Q, AW2721D, AW3821DW, AW3423DW) compared to software gsync (LG38WN95C, AW3225QF) and have found the software solution to be much worse, especially when it comes to flicker on OLED panels.
