Best praise vs top criticism for Landice L7
“A good 400-pound capacity treadmill will not be available for less than $3000, except for Horizon 7.8 or Sole F85. These are long-lasting treadmills with a lifelong warranty on the frame and motor. Horizon has a better warranty on parts. Both have good customer after-sales service. You can check 3G Cardio Elite Runner. It is more expensive, has the best warranty, and has fantastic customer service: no bells and whistles, fancy programs, or subscriptions. You can also check Landice L7 if your height is less than 6'(It has a short running track for running) or L8 if it is above that. It is one treadmill with a lifetime warranty on all parts except for the console(5 years). However, the company is known to be finicky during claim settlement. You can [see](https://www.myactivetribe.com/treadmills-with-400-lb-capacity/) some more treadmills in the same category here and compare them. You can also check LifeFitness T5 in that price category. Another company known for its outstanding customer service and products is True Fitness.”
“We use our L7 daily and have put about 500 hours on It in a year and a half. Our former machine (not a Landice) worked for us for 20 years and would still be running if I could have gotten parts for it. I’m in a remote rural area and usually end up doing my own work and maintenance. One of my main reasons for choosing Landice was the potential availability of parts in the future, particularly from eBay. Lots of Landice parts available even on 20 year old machines. That probably won’t be the case on new experimental machines that may or may not make it in the market. Even though our Landice is pretty new I have already acquired replacement front and rear rollers, a near new motor, and a new belt. All were bought on eBay at great deals to try and avoid any downtime in the future. And the Landice is a pretty easy machine to work on. It’s made in the USA and I found a complete service manual for it online easily. As good as they are you will probably still lose thousands sell it later to buy the KICKR. Your mileage may vary. Just some things I thought about that may or may not apply to you.”
