Best praise vs top criticism for Gigabyte MO27Q28G
“Hi! I'm in the same boat as you. Upgrading to 1440p soon. Competitive gamer so also aiming for high fps, my pc is also a 5080 + 9950x3d. Take a look at the Gigabyte MO27Q28G. This monitor is the one I'm aiming to buy so far after browsing some of the newer options. It comes out either July or August I think, new gen WOLED 280hz 0,03ms”
“on the MO27Q2? Pretty bad compared to the 4k IPS monitor - but I'm not using the OLED monitor for anything that needs to display text, it's purely for games/films/media etc. I think if you bump the display res on the 1440p OLED to 125% it helps with the text clarity (at 100% it doesn't look much better than a 25 inch 1080p monitor) and I'd probably be able to use it as a main monitor that way. Fortunately I have a 27" 4k monitor for work/browsing etc. so I never really have to look at text on the OLED.”
