“VA's issue isn't color accuracy or viewing angle, it's the ghosting. I have a VA Dell S2722DGM which at the time was considered one of the best VA's with low ghosting, but I bought it more for watching content than gaming. I also have an IPS Dell S2721DGF which is basically the same but not curved and it's IPS. The difference in ghosting is absolutely MASSIVE especially in dark games like Path of Exile, man I cannot read text while moving on the VA and any camera movement kinda lowers brightness because it ghosts the whole screen. The IPS does none of that, it's crystal clear no matter the movement. I do prefer the VA for content (better contrast in a dark room) but that's the end of it, next time I hope OLEDs have come down in price so I can get the best of both worlds.”
