Best praise vs top criticism for Dell Alienware AW3225QF
“It was either the MSI MPG 321CURX or Alienware AW3225QF. I wound up grabbing the MSI today. Price dropped 100 bucks at my Microcenter so I went for it. Haven't set it up yet, building a new bigger desk on Friday but I think I'll be happy with it.”
“I mean for the price it's serviceable. Personally I hated this monitor and returned one last week. I had a Dell S3220DGF that I killed and tried replacing it with the this Alienware. It was just worse, more blacklight bleed and just didn't look as nice, and the mount/stand sucked in comparison(which the dell one fit it so I used it lol). I use my monitor for work all day and then gaming during free time. Generally I'm a fan of Dell's monitors, their stands, and their USB placement especially that actually makes them useful. I'm using an LG 32GX850A-B currently, which obviously is a different class entirely price wise, but I'll probably be returning it as well, it's a beautiful display but the reflections are pretty bad, but more so I can't get used to not having a curved monitor now lol. So I ordered an Alienware AW3225QF that arrives Wednesday. If I don't like that I'll give the 32GX870A-B a try with the matte finish.”
