“I work on fitness equipment for a living. I will tell you the amount you spend here makes a massive difference as to what you’re going to get out of it. A walking pad will be cheap but it’s obviously gonna be basic and the belts on them are very hard to find and need to be replaced relatively often cause they start slipping quickly. If you can find a used treadmill such as life fitness or matrix or cybex or precor models for around $2-3,000 is a really good deal. Stay away from the $1000 Nordictrack/pro form machines. They aren’t worth the headache they cause. If you want a walking pad that goes 5mph that’s fine but that’s doesn’t last. If you spend the money even on a used model that’s refurbished. You can get a decent machine that will last you 10 years that does the lift and goes decent speeds for getting a good workout in.
