Rogue Ohio Bar

“First off thanks! Mostly I have a barbell problem. The ones hanging vertical are my beater bars for the kids or if I have a buddy training in tandem. 2 rogue Bella’s, Ohio and The original B&R bar made by York. The ones horizontal are somewhat different uses, all higher end. Third from the top was my first barbell, an Eleiko IWF training bar. Really aggressive knurling so I use for weightlifting less than 3 reps. I also use it for deadlifts. I thought it was long gone: I had to leave it behind after I moved home from overseas a decade ago. I recently contacted an old buddy that tracked it down and mailed it to me. Above that is a NXG IWF Eleiko training bar I couldn’t pass up on marketplace when my other Eleiko was still MIA. Top is a Uesaka IWF training bar. It’s my Grail. It popped up used on marketplace for a fair price. Best WL bar in the world IMO. Hand pressed knurl. Japanese Steel. Passive but sticky knurl. I use that for longer weightlifting sessions. Bottom is the new American barbell Chewy bar. I’ve barely used it because I just got it. Stiff. Very gritty knurl. It’s for squats and press /bench. No whip and good grip The last one is an American Barbell SS precision training bar. My favorite knurl. Not aggressive but super super sticky. If I had to choose only one barbell for all my types of training, it’d be this one. But I have many, so this one is my crossfitty/high rep bar. It has completely replaced my Ohio bar, better in every way. I’d use the Uesaka bar for this, but it seems sacrelig to use such a piece of art for Fran. My only want now is a deadlift bar. I wish for American barbell to come out with one that isn’t 98 inches.”
