Yeah I wanna say your right. Most reviews have shown ELMB doing extremely well against OLED. But with OLED your colors should look better. (ELMB) Yes, it does look much clearer. But It seems like it does add overshoot so, you technically would have blur, but its like clear. For me it was worth it, as I'm willing to pay for build quality and good product QC. I've been trying to find a decent high refresh rate 1440p monitor for years, buying multiple 27GL850, XG27AQ, 27GP850, VG27AQML, and even some KOORUI panel as a shot in the dark. Every monitor I received was defective in some way, with issues like dust behind the panel, dead pixels, and radically inconsistent backlight color being the most common. It's annoying to find your fancy new gaming panel is orange on the right half, and blue on the left. This was by far the most common issue with every monitor I tried, and people say it's normal. I use Asus ProArt displays at my office (PA278CV x2), and neither of them have any issues like I experienced with the monitors I bought. So once I found out Asus made a 144 Hz version, I immediately bought one. Colors are great, FreeSync works without issue, backlight is consistent, and it's built like a tank. Best of all, there were zero issues out of the box. With a total of ten "gaming" monitors purchased over the last four years, this one is the first that I'm not immediately returning. Barring any hardware issues, I'll be using it until it dies.
