Best praise vs top criticism for AssaultRunner
“I would take the lifetime warranty with a grain of sand. It’s a Canadian retailer that private labeled products form China and expanded into a dc in the US. The warranty is only as good as the brand/ provider. Curve treadmills have been know to have many issues with the bearings and belts. I would look at the assault classic runner instead”
“I apologize, I'm hard of hearing (98 percent hearing loss without my hearing aids), but I don't hear anything in that video relating to the squeak. I hear the footsteps and a slight belt hum. The slats are rubber, so it could possibly be interaction between the slats and your shoes, I've run into that before. Perhaps try different shoes and see if it still makes noises. Does it happen for just you or everyone that runs on this? If just you, probably the shoes. If everyone, then it's the machine itself. There are times when I'm told by the Air Assault service guys when I'm working on one of their products that some noises might take time to go away, needing to be broken in. If you're going to return/exchange, you probably shouldn't take it apart to try and figure out what's wrong. Technically, it's working, you have an odd random? noise.”
