Best praise vs top criticism for Timeless 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum
“My routine is constantly evolving, but I think it's pretty close to perfection right now, so I figured I'd share! Concerns: dry and dehydrated skin, low/zero tolerance to tret, dark spots/photodamage, and maturing skin (I'm 38). My skin is also super pale, so I try to add some tan glow whenever possible to make it look healthy. So the PM products live in a basket hidden under my coffee table, and it's all applied so slowly that each layer has time to absorb. Biggest winners: The Prequel cleansing duo is new to me, but so far I'm obsessed. Huge fan. The Rhode Glazing Milk is new to me and I like it so far, but milky toners in general are an absolute MUST for my skin. They calm down the redness (which can be insane if left unchecked), hydrate, and make my skin dewy and plump. I went on a ski trip a couple weeks ago and forgot my milky toner at home, and my face looked like a fucking mess by the time I got home. Brought the milker toner back into the daily rotation, and everything calmed down within a day or two. Magic. Kiehl's Ferulic Brew is amazing because it's gentle, complements the vitamin C really well, and it also hydrates. I've left it, but always return because it's such a perfect first layer in the morning. The Odacité tinted sunscreen is brand new but I'm already a huge fan. The sun protecting credentials are legit, and unlike most tinted sunscreens it actually has pigment, so instead of sunscreen then tinted moisturizer like I used to do, I now do it all in one step. Not only is it easier, but it also looks better on my face than the NARS tinted moisturizer I was using -- it leaves more of a glow, and it has more "perfecting" qualities, without looking like I'm wearing any pigment. No makeup needed. Homemade products ingredients breakdown: Green tea extract: I just brewed a shit ton of loose leaf Japanese sencha with minimal water, and then queezed as much of the liquid out as possible and added some glycerine to it. I heard LED masks work better with a green tea base, so that's what precipitated it. Oil blend: cold-pressed rosehip oil carrier, with un”
