Best praise vs top criticism for Aquaphor Healing Ointment
“This is the exact post I was looking for. Bless. I just recently bought the Laneige lip balm (I love the lip mask), and didn't love it as much as I wanted to, but love these liquid balms. The Laneige lip balm I felt dried out faster than I wanted, but smells great and feels amazing going on. Buying the Clinique as we speak. Have you tried some others? Elf Squeeze Me Lip Balm I see recommended a lot, and Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm, and the classic Aquaphor Lip Repair Ointment. I'd love to hear your thoughts!!”
“Cicaplast is not meant to be used daily. I've seen a lot of posts about this. Using it daily can definitely result in clogged pores and overall congested skin. As someone who swears by this product- it's meant to be used as a soothing balm or healing ointment. If you have a broken skin barrier, a burn, a rash, irritation, itchiness, etc. You use it a couple times until your skin is healed. I use salicylic acid products daily. Once a week I will not use any actives (except whatever is in my face wash), apply a centella ampoule and then do a very very thin layer of Cicaplast. Focusing it on the areas of my face that get dry. I also use it on my cuticles after cleaning and trimming them, my elbows, and my heels when they're really dry.”
