Birch Luxe Natural Mattress

“The bear natrual markets itself as a natural mattress, then when you look at the composition it has what looks like a 1" of talalay latex then a 3" layer it just calls its "Responsive Comfort Layer." Because it doesnt say otherwise, this layer is most likely polyurethane foam. Even the language is careful to say its , "Crafted with a 100% natural, non-toxic, and sustainable latex" however it doesnt say the mattress is the same. So its just a hybrid mattress with a 1" layer of talalay in it, nothing natural about it, pretty good example of greenwashing. The Birch luxe is a nice mattress however. It looks like it only uses 2" of latex, but the rest of the comfort layer is comprised of a thick layer of wool batting. Then the Mattress Makers Soledad is a nice talalay latex hybrid as well. My top recommendation along the same vein would be the [Ecosleep luxe](https://ecosleep.com/products/ecosleep-luxe?variant=41589228601483) This one has 3.5" of talalay latex while also having a wool and cashmere batting in the comfort layer, and is only $1300 in queen. I think its the best bang for your buck for a latex hybrid.”
