Wattbike Atom (Next Generation)

“This is so me! I’ve been doing the ramp test for years because the last time I did a test on a badly calibrated Wattbike I failed and it was a horrible experience I vowed never to repeat. At this point it’s just getting silly. The ramp test is fine, it’s more I’m just curious what I can do and how it compares. I actually planned to do one over Christmas when I had a bunch of time off, but I ended up doing a super long ride challenge instead because that seemed more fun! Hannah is my favourite and I told myself I’d take hers when she released it so I now have no excuse. I am going to set up a burner account to do it to take away any outside pressure if I fail. When I used to do the test at a Wattbike studio my coach prepped us with similar workouts leading up to it. I think it was something like 4 x 5 minutes in Z4 w/ 90s rest in between? Find a PZ workout similar to the test and try it out leading up to it to prepare yourself mentally for the pain. And then just accept that it’s just a number, you can always retest or ignore it. And if you got a higher number before you can work your way back to it with the right zones.”
