Best praise vs top criticism for Titan Fitness Axle Bar
“Quick write-up of some of the gear in the gym. ***Things I love:*** **Mammoth Belt Squat** When the Swan Neck came out, I threw in the towel and opted to keep the belt squat on my rack permanently. I use it often enough that it just makes sense to keep it ready to go at all times. Absolutely love belt squats, and this was the most affordable and space-efficient way to do them in my space. I am sacrificing some height on the Ares trolley, but it's fine, I only ever need one low trolley at a time in my training. **Wonder Bar 2.0** This was the first bar I’ve ever owned, and it continues to perform great. I love all of the specialty bars, and they enter and exit my programming regularly, but the Wonder Bar is the staple that I use most workouts. **Rep Ares 1.0** I initially had some fomo with the 2.0 update, but in reality, have no need for it. The Ares is the heart of my home gym and more machine than my family, myself, and friends need. The only thing I really feel like I’m missing out on is the better cable routing when the pulleys are lowered. I ordered the weight stack upgrade, and plan to install it over the weekend. **Horizon 7.0 Treadmill** This is an okay treadmill at an okay price, but the killer feature is the vertical storage. I run on it when the weather is too foul to go out and get my Tik Tok incline walks in on it. **Darko Thresher Pad** This sat idle for a few months before I started pairing it with the Straydog Goat attachment. Now it’s a staple. Typically used for chest-supported rows. But boy, do I love chest-supported rows with this setup. **Rep x Pepins** Do I need 120lb dumbbells? No. But work bonus time came around, and my partner gave me the thumbs up on the purchase. I’d been eyeing a heavier set of adjustable dumbbells for months, as the 52.5lb capacity of the Bowflex Selects became a bit too light for some movements. The Reppins are as good as most say. No regrets. **Strongman Sandbags & Kettlebells** These take up way too much real estate, but I don’t regret it in the least. Currently running Dan John’s ABF paired with a running program and a bench day. So much fun. Meanwhile, sandbag shoulders, carries, and tossing them over a makeshift yoke (axle bar resting on the front uprights of the rack) is a blast, and is something I find myself incorporating into my training more and more. **Bootysprout Pro** Joe Gray sold me on this. It hides between the Ares and garage door when not in use, and sets up in about a minute. Fastest and easiest way to do hip thrusts.”
“> Bells of Steel monolift The racking area seems a bit too tight. I would hate to rack something like a Kadillac or an axle bar on that thing. Not sure about roller though.”
