Best praise vs top criticism for Tineco Floor One S5
“I’ve had the opposite experience with Tineco. I’m not contesting your experience, just throwing my experience into the conversation. I have 2 Tineco Floor One S5’s at my house. One upstairs and one downstairs. Both are 1.5 years old. And every single day, I grab one of them and use it for a couple minutes, and I do that on average about 3 times per day. So they’re both getting a lot of usage, getting turned on and off frequently, and always running in the 100%-power mode. They do a killer job cleaning anything on my floors, and haven’t had any unexpected issues. I’ve been using Roombas heavily for 6 years, so I know what these kinds of machines need. If one ends up with low suction, I replace the couple-dollar filter, back in business. Or I remove the roller, wipe the grime out of the suction path, pop the roller back on, and back to full performance. Nothing has been required beyond the basic types of things I do with owning Roombas. I don’t even use any cleaning solution, I just fill them up with (basically distilled) water from my Zero Water pitcher (also a great product). I’m sure that helps keep the internals clean. Anyway, that’s been my experience. I love them 💁♂️🙂”
“This is super helpful, thank you! My experience is similar to yours. I purchased the Floor One S3 in 2021 for $799 and it stopped charging late last year. I contacted Tineco via their chat function and got the same initial offer and when I rejected that, they offered 10%. I didn’t keep going after that as I wanted to do my research on the consumer laws you mention. Are you able to send me the responses Chat GPT suggested? I’d like to take this further with them”
