Best praise vs top criticism for Sebo Airbelt D4
“Congratulations and welcome to the Sebo club! 🎉 I bought my d4 from geek vacuums last month and had a great experience as well. I had a million questions and Andrea was very patient and sweet. We chatted so much, I felt like I made a new friend! She even checked in with me after I got my new vacuum to see how I liked it (and I LOVE it). It’s a small shop, just her and brother, which is pretty cool too!”
“The Miele GN bags have been around for at least 15 years (our 15+ year old Miele canister takes them and the above new Miele canister also takes them). So I wouldn't worry about them being discontinued. We get our Miele bags from Amazon in under 24 hours. YMMV. Our Miele canister motor recently died and we went to a local vacuum store to try out models, including SEBO. Yes, can confirm that the SEBO warranty is 10y in Canada the Miele is 5y. We didn't like the SEBOs as much and replacing a Miele (that we still had bags for and various accessories) was more appealing. Ultimately, husband ordered a replacement motor direct from Miele Canada and our 15yo machine is like new again. We will be replacing it eventually with another Miele I suspect. The SEBO D series is massive and heavy if you have stairs (even though we have a 4000sqft home, it seemed like overkill) and the E series seemed/felt a bit flimsy compared to the Miele (which is pretty much exactly what we are used to). At our local shop, the SEBO E and the Miele I linked above were going to be similarly priced once you factored in accessories etc. The sales person told us, aside from the warranty, they were very similar and to just pick the one that felt better. YMMV”
