Best praise vs top criticism for The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
“Real pale girly here! 1) I really like Dr. Jart's Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 ($25 for the small jar) as a gentle, color-correcting tinted sunscreen that does just a teeny bit of correction without being too dark. Then I do just a little bit of Nars' Radiant Creamy Concealer ($15 for the little bottle) where I need a little more help, like the under eye. 2) For dullness, be really on top of drinking enough water and keeping your face hydrated but maybe add a little exfoliation to your routine too. My budget exfoliation favorite is the Ordinary's red peeling solution ($9.50) twice a week, but my absolute holy grail exfoliation product is Epionce's Lytic Tx ($56) twice daily. 3) if you've never been tested for common allergies, I would talk to your doctor about it. You would be super surprised by how much under-eye weirdness is an allergy response.”
“I have brown Fitzpatrick 4 skin tone. I used The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution once a week for a year before attempting TCA peel. I do TCA peel every 4-6 weeks but not to the point of frosting so the peeling is very mild. I take a lot of precautions post peel to avoid hyperpigmentation and I use tyrosinase inhibitor serum daily in my skincare routine to suppress pigmentation.”
