Best praise vs top criticism for TCL Nxtpaper 11
“Samsung tablets do not lag. They are some of the best tablets you can buy. S9 plus is a really good tablet or the S9 ultra. Another one that is good is the new TCL NXTPAPER Tab 5G.”
“General piece of advise: Don't go lower than 4gb of ram. Any time Android drops new features and apps renew themselves your device will become a bit slower, imagine how the tab will run if you have less ram than most entry level phones nowadays? That being said, some people really talk up the lenovo tablets (p12 for example, though a sub darling is the xiaoxin pad, the more advanced Chinese version that you have to pretty much change the software on) for being on the cheaper side and having both a dedicated stylus and keyboard(in some places you can get it all in a bundle). Avoid all Samsung a tablets, they don't have stylus compatibility. S lines are amazing but usually quite expensive, your best bet is either getting an older model (s8 for example), going for the tab s9fe or the s6 lite 2024 (it's important that you get the newest version out of the many therr are, for software updates). *My main recommendation your your use case?* TCL NXTPAPER 11 (and if not a fan of 11' displays you can find many other nxtpaper tabs on tcl's page). Why this one? 2k display with paper like texture which makes reading and writing on it a much pleasant experience. 4gb of ram, 128 rom and the possibility of adding an sd card. 8000mah of battery. Aluminum body. AND though it's quite affordable, in many regions you can find bundles that include the keyboard, the folio case, a screen pritector and even the stylus. It is something to checkout, as I was really considering this one, but couldn't find the stylus (alone or in a bundle) anywhere in my country :(. Drawbacks? Lack of updates as tcl does not guarantee any and that the charging speed of the battery is not that good (15w I believe)”
