Best praise vs top criticism for Lenovo Legion Y700
“Lenovo Y700 (2023) is really good performance wise, has Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. People buy this more for gaming and put it together with a controller. However, downside is if you can stomach the Chinese ROM (a global ROM can be flashed too). But the official international version has also already released, a bit pricier, it's called Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 2 -- [https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/p/tablets/android-tablets/lenovo-legion-tab-(8.8-inch-gen-2)/](https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/p/tablets/android-tablets/lenovo-legion-tab-(8.8-inch-gen-2)/)”
“Disagree. Had a Galaxy phone with Galaxy Tab, like what Apple users got to enjoy, it was a seamless experience. Gave the Galaxy Tab to a relative, got myself a Legion Y700. Pain the ass. No more calling from my tablet, workaround was to get Google dialer with Google number, which is a completely different phone number Had to use Google messenger, which may or maynot sync messages, it was hit or miss. Did not appreciate Samsung's suite of their own app until I used Google's janky equivalent. Galaxy phone, stick with Galaxy Tab, lesson learned. I hate Google's apps so much, just said fuck it and not use sms on my tablet or make phone calls. I miss my Galaxy Tab, with my Galaxy Phone nearby, it turned into a giant Galaxy phone. My Galaxy Buds that I used was seamless in multipairing as well, which I miss.”
