+32 pts“Contra point. Love my lunar solo. Somewhere around 70-80 nights and it's holding up fine. Pitch can be a bit tricky and don't always get it good but the tie outs help enough where I use them every time. Space is also perfect for one plus gear plus dog. One pole is so nice. The only complaint I have, as you mentioned, was condensation which is a problem that lots of tents have.”

+17 pts“>The Lunar Solo seems like a clear winner but after sleeping in both for a night I can't convince myself the weight savings is worth it. It's easy to pack away and has a lot more room inside, but its flimsy and gets covered with condensation. Where did you set up, and how did you set up? A major impact on condensation has nothing to do with the tent - it's where the tent is set up. [Andrew Skurka's series on campsite selection](https://andrewskurka.com/tag/five-star-campsite-selection/) If the Lunar Solo felt flimsy, you may need a bit of practice setting it up. [Setup video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNSPv9zNLdM). Tips: * Leave the 5 "corner" guy lines fully extended whenever possible. Move stakes instead of using the LineLocs to tighten the pitch. * Always use the mid-panel guy points - they add stability and head room. [Photos here](https://photos.app.goo.gl/6ob4VWHL4Wpq4eAs7) * Leave one vestibule door open whenever conditions allow for ventilation. (That goes for double wall tents as well.)”
