Best praise vs top criticism for Samsung QN85C
“I bought a QN85C 2 years ago directly from samsung and went through 3 with returns that all had this problem. After hundreds of hours on the phone, and having samsumg care plus I finally gave up and accepted my tv having this curve. The worst part was the 3rd tv had one dead pixel (also wouldn't do anything). TV has been amazing though so I cant complain too much”
“Okay. Thanks for the info. I am concerned now that I bought a TV I might not be happy with. After doing some research I had seen a lot of good reviews for the QN85C. But over on r/4kTV they mention this specifically as a set to avoid because it can stutter with streaming content (which is what I will do with this set most). Like I said in my post I originally bought it through Amazon and it hasn't even delivered yet so I could return it. Wondering about this Hisense U8K ULED TV which got a good rating as a streaming TV on [Toms Guide](https://www.tomsguide.com/best-picks/best-smart-tvs-for-streaming). Not ready to drop the cash for a Sony Bravia A95L yet. The Hisense (I assume) would require a receiver that supports 8K. The one I ordered (again through Amazon so I can return it) doesn't support 8k but otherwise seems to be a good receiver.”
