Best praise vs top criticism for Samsung Jet 90 Complete
“I used think this until I got one (Samsung Jet 90). You learn to be more efficient in how you operate the vacuum. I find myself using the cordless way more that my old corded vacuum.”
“Hiii, so I actually have 17 vacuums I’m sorting through right now as I pare down the collection. The Jet 90 is rock bottom. It’s the first one out. It’s the pits. It’s a horrible cleaner. The brushes are only air/turbine driven, meaning it doesn’t clean carpet really at all and it just bogs down on rugs. It also can’t remove cat hair to save its life. It just smudges and spreads it around my carpet. I have a soft spot for clever bad vacuums, but as a vacuum connoisseur, the Jet is just awful. I’m shocked they sell as many as they do, and more shocked that they even released it. It feels like a prototype. For $500 there are so many better vacuums. I’ve never been wowed by a cordless because they’re pricy, they don’t last, and they don’t clean well. I’d recommend a bagged canister vacuum because the wand and powerhead are light and maneuverable like a cordless, and the heavier base rolls with you, you’re not lugging around a heavy upright. Quality rec: Miele C1 Cat and Dog. Really pleasant and easy to live with, tiny and tidy. Shorter 26ft cord though, but it does everything right. Cleans all piles or carpets and hard floors really well. It’s also quiet. Budget rec: Kenmore bagged canister. Tons of them available, they’re all pretty similar, just depends on what features you want. The 200/400 series are good choices. Not quality like Miele or Sebo, but very good cleaners. If you buy the 200 canister from Target, it’s actually a 400. For a budget cleaner it’s great.”
