+2 pts“If you believe the cat will always vomit only when the robot isn’t working, you could look at the QRevo Pro with no camera ([999.99 CAD](https://ca.roborock.com/products/roborock-qrevo-pro)). The Roborock QRevo MaxV with visual object recognition and avoidance is also sold at the same price but Roborock’s obstacle avoidance isn’t the best. Best obstacle avoidance comes from Dreame’s newer models like the L/X30-40, NarWal’s Freo Z Ultra, and Eufy’s S1 Pro. Unfortunately the Eufy S1 Pro is not good at de tangling pet hair so I’ve excluded it from my recommendations. If you want one that is much better at avoiding pet messes you can look at the Narwal Freo Z Ultra as it’s obstacle avoidance is much better (I heard they’re still working out the bugs for its firmware when navigating) for [1799 CAD](https://ca.narwal.com/pages/freo-z-ultra-robot-vacuum-and-mop?srsltid=AfmBOopbjWKpPNT81ckQFs2yLeDiH4cBf0ZKxrSZkGXnR9Zb2XzR9-Rl) For Dreame I think the most effective obstacle avoidance fhoice will be the L40 Ultra ([2099](https://www.amazon.ca/dreame-Removable-Extendable-SideBrush-Auto-Empty/dp/B0D5LJH6GJ?ref_=ast_sto_dp)). It is slightly above your 2000 CAD budget but it beats all the other models at edge and corner cleaning as well as using its algorithm to decide if some areas warrant a second cleaning. I saw that it was offering the TriCut brush, free mops, and their hairdryer(?) with this purchase. I found that the TriCut brush with the correct brush cover was amazing at dealing with my long haired corgi’s fur to the point I only had to clean dust off the brush. The X30 Ultra is strangely more expensive when it doesn’t perform as well. If you are okay running the robot in good ambient lighting for the robot’s mess avoidance to work well, you could look at the Dreame L10S Pro Ultra Heat for ([1699 CAD](https://www.amazon.ca/dreame-Suction-Maintenance-Obstacle-Avoidance/dp/B0CVL2TT74?ref_=ast_sto_dp)). You’d have to buy the TriCut brush from AliExpress but I think that’s also a possible option.”
