Best praise vs top criticism for LG OLED CX
“I just went from a 77” LG CX OLED to a 98” QM8 at a 17’ viewing distance. No regrets on quality. I do wish the 110-115” models didn’t 5x the price. ”
“I bought an LG OLED CX when they first came out. Six years later and I hate it. The software has got buggier and less reliable year after year. What I hate the most is the stupid “magic’ remote. The wheel caved in within four years. It’s a stupid design and is vital for basic use. Sure you can by aftermarket but you have to buy OEM if you want voice. There are other issues like ARC and basic reset/reboot without unplugging. Still a great picture though and no image retention issues despite my wife pausing stuff all the time that does not go into screen saving”
