Best praise vs top criticism for LG OLED C1
“Watched Dune 1 in dual Lazer AMC. Watched it twice on 4K UHD disk on my 83" C1 with all Maggie 5.1 system. Theater experience shit all over my setup. I also watched Dune 2 in the theater in Dolby Cinema and expect to enjoy it at home, but not like I did in the theater. I'm very happy with my HT, but have never for a second found it to be a superior EXPERIENCE for big visual/aural movies like Dune.”
“My parents (in their 70s) just returned the 65" LG C5. I recommended they get it since I enjoy my C1; they returned it for the 55" because "the other was too big for the room." To be fair, they had a 32" Sony LCD in a big cherry wood cabinet built for, and used to hold, a 32" Sony Trinitron! Other than their case, I totally agree that higher quality of pic and size are always better!”
