Hoover Commercial Hushtone

“I was voted down for recommending to someone the Commercial Hoover Hushtone + upright instead of something German and specifically a Sebo Felix. The OP had a price point and the kind of carpeted home that the Hushtone would excel on but my suggestion was down voted. I get grief for suggesting a Kenmore is a more reliable and potentially more durable vacuum than a Miele. Miels have a lot of quality problems but some here don't want to hear it. I also get grief for suggesting that a Sebo K or E model is a better choice than the D because the cleaning power is the same, same exact power nozzle but the D is super expensive. Why spend the extra money? You could have a nice weekend somewhere with your wife for the difference in price. Nobody gives a rip what vacuum is in your closet. It's not a life style statement. There are no brownie points in Heaven for buying a Sebo. But for some here it is tantamount to a required sacrament.”
