Best praise vs top criticism for GoRuck GR1 26L
“I love my 26L. Great quality bag that's built like a tank. It will suit your intended purpose. Yes it is expensive but this bag will last you a lifetime and will survive anything you put it through. There is a lifetime warranty so if there's anything wrong with the bag, you can send it in to SCARS and they will fix it for you. You could also consider buying one second hand at a cheaper price and the lifetime warranty still applies.”
“Great question. So right now I think I'm pretty happy with my backpack setup. For work I use the Peak Design Everyday Backpack 30L For travel I have the Peak Design 40L For days out with the kids I use an Osprey Archeon 25L The backpack I've always wanted is the Goruck GR1 26L. I now have it. But it's not comfortable, I'm a larger guy broad shoulders big chest and it's just super uncomfortable. I have a messenger I use that transforms from a backpack to a messenger it's a Herschel Brittania XL I think. The only additional backpack I'd want is a more obviously gamer style backpack that could carry my gaming laptop headset Steamdeck Switch etc. Realistically the Peak Design carries it all but id prefer for it to be separated. Considering an ROG Ranger backpack but funds won't allow it at present. I'd consider selling my barely used Goruck for funds but, it's not a well sought after back in the UK.”
