tldr; Camera travel pack. Expands to 45L, cube compatible. Great for photographers, overkill for others.

Best praise vs top criticism for Peak Design Travel Backpack 45L
“I can maybe get you close... * Peak Design 45L travel pack (can compress to 30L)... Has lots of security features (probably the most similar of these 3 to Linus's zippers. not carbiners but hypalon that can link the zipper pulls), durable, custom zippers, excellent warranty, fairly weather resistant, prone to back sweat... I've been on 4 flights with it, and always used it as my personal item, but United was the only airline for those flights... * Tom Bihn Techonaut 30L (or 45L size available) comfortable, good back ventilation, simpler design but organized well, has a simple pad locking zipper design... * Aer Travel Pack (I think V2 is the best) Good back ventilation, the most organized of these 3, 33-35 liters depending on version, has pad locking zippers, and V2 has compression straps that go over the main zip Honestly, I think if you want weatherproofing to the max, I think you'll probably want to invest in a rainfly... Even reasonably weatherproofed bags aren't perfect... the Peak Design has an accessory rainfly available that stows into a special compartment on the outside of the bag, otherwise there are plenty of aftermarket rainflies available... Grabbing an umbrella at your destination might not hurt either...”
“For the life of me I’ll never understand the obsession with Peak Design. I’ve had both their everyday and their 45L travel pack for three years and I am elated to finally be getting rid of it. I like the smaller things they make - phone cases, their dop kit is outstanding, etc. from a backpack perspective they are over engineered but with features that don’t make sense and uncomfortable to wear (like really really uncomfortable to wear. Maybe if you’re a photographer it’s different but I’m always shocked to see how well it does on these lists.”
