Bottom pocket fits a diaper change kit (I actually used their Snake Charmer accessory - wipes and cream on one side, diapers on the other), side pockets fit bottles (and later, kids thermos), big outer middle pocket fit my 20oz Hydroflask (easily) inside elastic pocket fit a change of clothes, and the main compartment fits anything else you might need. It is literally perfect organizationally, but like another poster mentioned, may leave something wanting style-wise. But they are a top-notch company with excellent company practices and utility design thinking. Highly recommend."

"Picked up a Convoy S2 UV when I was shopping for a new light for my mom, since they are so cheap! it's really a steal with the included UV lens and all. Also threw on a violet shorty tube to make it a compact package! Now I have read several times that you DO NOT take your UV light into the bathroom, unfortunately I'm stupid and did not take your advice to heart. Am now traumatized. "Convoy S2+ with Nichia 519a 4000k is a rock solid choice, the 519a was and still is very popular. Comes in many colorways and different metals, can have a rubber or metal button (or a lighted rubber or metal button but these have a very slow current drain so they will dishcharge it over a few months). Convoy S6 is also another option. Either shipped with a battery would be right around $30 and you can get a clip and different button for like $5 more. Lots of customization. Fairly robust no frills flashlight with decent waterproofing, not totally IPXX waterproof - although I have dropped mine in water before with no ingress into the body."

"I replaced my Daily pocket knife with a Leatherman Skeletool CX, for me having a 154 CM extremely sharp knife plus the added benefit of pliers and wire cutters seem to replace the use of a basic pocket knife"

"Leatherman Skeletool. I have the CX and have had it for 12 years. I broke my first one a few months after getting it and noted that they seemed to have a very thin hinge. Turns out there were updating them for that very reason and I was sent the new one and it has been great ever since. It has only essentials, so is quite a bit thinner than a Wave or Signal. I believe Leatherman will also do custom engraving on them for you as well."

"My Fenix PD35 v. 3.0 is like that. Tail switch for on-off, side switch to cycle levels. And it has memory. I usually leave it on the second to lowest level. Good luck."

"Civivi Elementum has sold a million or so. Comes in many colors/materials, about $50-$65 for the regular non-fancy models. Flipper quick opening and good locking blade for safety. Handle fits many hand sizes and shapes. Ontario Rat 2 in D2 steel is a good older model, with neat nickname for the robot, R2D2. Runs about $50. For a keychain knife, look at a Swiss Army model with knife, scissors, tweezers and toothpick under $40."

"I have that same exact Civivi and I use it everyday. I like it very much. It's light, small and very capable for cutting, for example, cardboard boxes. It's very pretty and, so far, reliable. Mine fell on hard ground many times and got some scratches but no dents or anything. The only two issues are that over time the screw untightens itself and you have to screw it back again and for me the clip is not that tight or strong but I tightened It using some pliers and now it's perfect. I like when pocket clips give some resistance to take off the pocket so I am sure it doesn't simply come off by touching something in the way. The screw getting untightned happened 3 times on me in almost 1 year of owning it. Every so often I'd recommended you to tighten it so the blade doesn't fly off if you flip open the knife. Besides that, no complaints. The button lock is very handy and guarantees an easy one hand use of the knife. I don't have the other knife so I can't really compare the two, but if you want my two cents, I am very pleased with my elementum utility for 45€. Also, as I do with most of my tools, I'd suggest you to put some mineral oil (e.g. victorinox's tool oil) or ballistol on your tools and clean them regularly."

"I can’t speak for the anything other than my GR1 (which I got before production moved from the US). I’ve had it for about 6 years now and I’ve really put it through its paces. It literally looks the same as the day I bought it. From my understanding, the GoRuck aesthetic is intentional. They’re meant to be durable, high quality bags but be plain enough looking. No frills. No pomp. I like it this way. It doesn’t look expensive and for me and my travels it means it’s not putting a large target on me and my stuff for potential thieves or pickpockets."

"Marketing? Just my opinion, but there are plenty of other tactical clamshell 1000D backpacks that are just was well built, but half the cost. In circles like bushcrafting that actually take these bags out in the wilderness, I find that Goruck gets barely a mention, if at all."

"I know but it's worth every penny, USA made, lifetime warranty and still looks brand new after five years of constant abuse. I live out of this thing, so it has to hold up and serves as my house since I don't have one, so totally justifiable. "The closest thing is the acebeam e75, which I recommend instead because it is a really nice light! I love mine. It comes with the 519a led which is high cri, neutral white, and has a nice looking beam. It's also got usb c charging. You can also take out the magnet if you need to"

"These lights have dethroned my Zebralight SC64c LE for frequency of use. I do not EDC a light as much as I used to, so the larger size is not a major downside. The extra runtime, higher sustained output, and magnets have been more of a plus. Between the Wurkkos and Acebeam, the Acebeam is definitely a nicer light. They are more similar than different, though."

"As a flashlight reviewer, I’ll take the last portion of your post. I think the Pineapple Mini is not only one of Rey’s best lights, but one of the best 10440s on the market. I used to have a dozen of them. I still have two, a double AA length one, and a Mk1 with 219b.
