I recently took a job at a steel mill and I’ve come to learn that most of the millwrights and electricians are gear nerds, and seeing the way some of them customize their stuff is inspiring and makes me wish I had pursued machining when I was younger. As I’m sure you already knew, the S2+ basically has 2 off-the-shelf clip options, the snap-on and the screw-on, and both of them are meh, just ok. I’ve lost one S2+ when the snap-on clip popped off and it slipped out of my pocket without me noticing, and the screw-on option isn’t deep carry and only comes in stainless and it’s a pain to fiddle with the tiny little screws and nuts to actually get it on. I’m sure many other besides us have longed for a better clip, and it’s really cool to see someone take the time to make it themselves.”
