This last year I went from a Sony HT-ST5000, a $1,500 soundbar when I purchased, not for $,1500 with my employee discount, but an AVR and 3.1 for less blows it out the water. Yes it’s more wires, extra hardware, but if you’re looking for what’s best, especially being able to stage the speakers properly and have room to grow? Don’t get a soundbar.”
