Best praise vs top criticism for Sony BRAVIA 9
“I think you're right. And it's probably not supported by the 4k Blu-ray format either. But that's too bad, because 3840x2160 48Hz output through HDMI works perfectly fine with a PC and a modern TV, if you add a custom resolution. Tested with an NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPU and an LG B9 OLED TV.”
“Only problem with a 5.1 and the immersion you're talking about is once you have a taste, you want more and then it's buying Atmos speakers and another receiver to handle the 9 channels with the 5.1.4. this habit/addiction/ hobby whatever you wanna call it can get quite expensive. When I bought my Height speakers I went with AVS, it showed 2 speakers in the picture and they were priced at $249.99. I needed 4 so I bought $500 worth and when it arrived and there were just 2 speakers I called AVS and was like "I'm missing two speakers" and that's when I realized even though it's showing two speakers in the picture, that price was for 1. So my already high priced speakers at what I thought of $125 a piece then turned into $1,000 purchase so I could have four, so yeah that sucked lol moral of the story read the fine print on how many speakers you're buying lol”
