+15 pts“Both of these tents are really huge for solo camping. I have the Snow Peak Alpha Breeze and I love it for me, my partner, and our dog. However, it’s a little more challenging to set up alone than other tents due to the heavy metal poles and the old school pin design (where you hook the polls into the tent body). You absolutely need a second person to help. The other tent you listed would be easier to set up alone. I would recommend looking at a 2 or 3 person tent instead for a solo camping experience. Both are plenty big if you have a partner, and it would be much cheaper. If you become an REI member, you can get in on the Labor Day sales and then also have the option to return the tent if you decide it’s not working out.”

Having room to hand out in out of the sun and rain on one end and sleeping area on the other seems mad convenient tho. Can you seal one side for privacy, like when dressing?”
