Best praise vs top criticism for Slingfin Portal 2
“Both tents that are hard to find reliable info on. It seems that everybody loves their Slingfin, but Mr Durston does have great nuanced arguments as seen below. One thing the Portal (2 only?) does have is the internal guy outs that are really cool. And the option to get the upgraded poleset. But the dome is lighter and has external poles. I got a slingfin portal 2 for a trip above the arctic circle this summer. But that was also heavily influenced by the fact that the dome 2 is not availlable yet. Also i have not even pitched my Portal! But i did do a lot of research. [This is a must read](https://slowerhiking.com/shelter/tents-in-strong-wind-how-to-pitch-your-tent) if you are looking into wind-resistant tents. TLDR: not enough reliable user data available.”
