Samsung HW-A650

“Hi OP, I have a Samsung HW A-650. I upgraded to that from a HW A-550 that was 2.1. I would never get a soundbar that wasn't at least 3.1 again. I was quite happy with the A-650 which the B-650 is just rebadged. There is a feature on the B-650 I like that the A-650 doesn't have, and that's the ability to change the volume of the center channel. As far as features, you have Dolby Digital and DTS-X Virtual and that's about it. If you're happy with that then for the price point you really will do no better. You'll really do no better unless! I just upgraded my Samsung HW A-650 to a Samsung Q600C, and I only paid $257.00 bucks for it. How? When you are shopping online always take a peak at the open box inventory. Now I am a person who doesn't want a product that is in the used acceptable category. So when you are searching filter out anything except (Used like new) option. I am tenacious when it comes to finding what I want. Finding a used like new Q600C in the condition I would accept took a little time. The Q600C goes for an average of around 500 bucks. My serching paid off! I found A Q600C across the nation, and I couldn't believe what I was reading in the description. This item is new with damage to the box only, and it's never been open. I just got it 2 days ago. This soundbar blows the A and B series out of the water! Do a side by side comparison. Now I am a person who is in a position to purchase any soundbar I want. I live in the hills, and my man cave is only 12x14. So a Q- 900 series would really be overkill for my room and My Samsung 50 inch QLED TV. I am more than happy with the Q600C. When looking make sure you're looking sure it is the Q600C model and not the older A or B models. Some will try and tell you there is no difference and with some models they would be right, but not with this Q600 soundbar. Good luck!”
