“Why not Weber? The Searwood seems to be the best all in one, when using a pellet tube while smoking. RecTec has xfire or something like that which they bill as a gas grill replacement that can also smoke but all the (2) real reviewers I saw returned them bc the igniters didn’t work. RecTec said they were using too thin of extension cords but idk, my WWP doesn’t have an issue and it’s on a cheapo cord. I have a wwp and with the sidekick and sear box it can do both, but even now on sale for Memorial Day they are above your range. Iirc the on sale just the smoker is 1399. Maybe it’s 1299. Looks like bbqguys has it with the sear box for 1599 right now. That’s for the 24. The 36 is more. Personally, I regret getting the 24 bc I can’t put a whole 3 pack of Costco St. Louis ribs on one rack without cutting them into sections. Pellets pretty much all cook better on the top rack. I know people with the kind that you slide a vent to have direct fire for searing and I haven’t been impressed with any. Maybe the rectec with the dual chambers would be better. Also I have looked at the rectec bullseye and trying to get a wsm 22” center and top to fit in it and I think it would work if you remove the hinge. Idk if that would still qualify as being just one unit since you’d still have 2/3 of the wsm to store lol I can’t off hand recall any other better options.”
