Best praise vs top criticism for Realign Body & Mind Foam Roller
“So, I saw someone recommend something new for this just this morning. It's worth a try at least. You're going to be doing a standard forward fold stretch, but before you start you're going to engage different muscles and realign your pelvis. You'll do this by placing a small but flexible ball between your knees, squeezing for 30 seconds. After you released, forward fold to see if you have less resistance and don't hit your max resistance. While you're folded, bend/straighten your knees slowly but not to the max effort. Come back up and repeat if you feel like it helps. Hamstrings are hard. Sometimes I just sit in a chair and extend my legs as far as I can (while engaging quads hard) and point and flex my foot. It's easy to do throughout the day if you sit often. ”
“Well it goes like this 1.) tight shoes with big toes bended inwards 2.) this leads to big toes not used for support during walking because their tendons are mechanically in the wrong position. They should notmally carry 2/3 of the whole weight of the body. 3.) Now the whole weight is redistributed to the outer sole. 4.) Glutes become useless during walking because they naturally rotate outwards which puts pressure on big toes which is now impossible. Glutes go sleep. 5) The whole thing can also interact to further problems of lower back, hamstrings and calves. So the procedure would be 1) barefoot shoes with straight big toes 2) foot yoga to realign the foot tendons to work in one line with calves, hamstrings and glutes 3) wall calf raises with stretched calves because it also works foot muscles so they can learn to work together in line 4) bridges, romanian dead lifts and the like to strengthen and lengthen but especially to teach hamstrings, glutes and low back (erector spinae) to work together I guess it is 1-2 years of work.”
