+11 pts“I got one. It doesn't work for me - I tried lying down and standing up to use it. I could never hit the right spot. I'm a bit fluffy though so that may be a factor. I had much better luck once I found a YT vid on how to use a ball to release psoas - not one of those lacrosse balls (that would be ouch!). I got once of those firm foam balls that you can bounce really high from the kids sport section - 5 inches. You lay face down on the ball and it worked decently well so I know I could hit the correct spot - it was just that particular tool that didn't work for me. It may work for you though. I actually use something else now - littlemum has this thing that looks like a cross between an orange roller coaster and a butterfly. I lay down on my back and lightly press the larger rounded edge lightly into where the psoas is - works perfect every time. You can also hinge it under your hip crest to hit the illiacus too. Also, I find that when my psoas is tight I also need to work on my IT band and usually my sacrum too. For the sacrum there is a product called spinefitter that is wonderful on it own for back and hips but its got this extra thing you can get called the trigger point tool that you attach - it fits perfectly either side of your sacrum (or your spine). You just lie on it and move it little by little up on it. I feel tons better when I release the psoas/Illiacus/sacrum, its like I can stand straighter and my hips and lower back feel much more comfortable and looser.”
