+24 pts“This is a huge bummer - the 88 was a nearly perfect all mountain ski for most recreational skiers and was an easy one for me to recommend to clients and redditors. Bode preferred the 110 and could lay them over! I was stoked when we finally got them to make the 76 although Bode wasn’t a huge fan of the initial design. I’m also bummed because this is a loss for a local company (even through they were manufactured at Elan). Their design team was top notch and I hope they land somewhere great.”

The topsheets were "my dentist thinks this looks cool" graphics. I never saw a hip athlete send a tight line on them, despite Davenport somehow being involved? "We cut out material in front of the toe to decrease torsional rigidity" might be good or bad but it SOUNDS like you made them soft for old men who can't handle a stiff ski They marketed them as rich old man skis”
