“As a cyber security/computer engineer (Bach. in Comp science, Masters in Computer engineering and have worked in this field for almost 15 years) — the issue is NOT your Owlet camera’s ability to connect to WiFi (I have the owlet camera for all of my kids). It’s your household’s internet access being unsecured — you need better password and probably a raspberry pi. Also check your devices connect and block those that don’t need to be on it — verify the origin of where the devices connected to your WiFi are from (highly recommend avoiding China — they’re known to hack and send feedback). Buying non WiFi and BT only is not any safer — BT is easily hacked. If you want to avoid WiFi altogether then get the type that connects to a private monitor (not your phone or tablet)”
