“The okuma C-500a looks like it is going to be a very small reel without a lot of line capacity. I think either the okuma 2500 or the Penn 2500 will be a solid choice. My taste thinks the okuma is sexier, either one will be a good choice as long as you take care of it.”

These rods were brand new, and broke in the tip section above the first guide. I'd suggest Okuma celilo if buying new, based on that experience.”
