+6 pts“The 9.2's subs are 10" and pack slightly more punch. Also the additional pair of side surrounds create a wider soundfield with the right content but it's not a massive difference. I first bought the 7.2 for my living room which is 25x13 with 12' ceilings. I was pretty blown away by it. After a couple of weeks I decided I wanted one in my man cave which is about 12x13 with 10' ceiling and bought the 9.2 for my living room. Both are a perfect fit for their respective rooms. But I was perfectly happy with the 7.2 in the living room. I just figured since I wanted a Nakamichi in my cave I might as well go big for the living room and move the 7.2 to the cave.”
