Best praise vs top criticism for Moment Deathwish 104
“I would put him on a moment deathwish or an on3p woodsman 110 because life is short and they’re both great skis and companies.”
“I own the 196cm Wildcat 118s, 193cm Chipotle Bananas, and I've ridden the Ghost Trains for one run. TL;DR: Get the Bananas. Ghost Trains are very limp compared to the others. I hate limp skis. Triple camber is a also pretty horrible, especially for a pow ski. I would personally never buy these. Bananas are the most fun, by far. They can plow through everything but can also beautifully dance between trees. Wildcats are absolute tanks. Especially the 196cm. They plow through everything without a second thought. They are great during the storm, but I definitely prefer the Bananas on storm days. On a warm sunny day after the storm, when the snow is getting heavy, the Wildcats absolutely excel. It's like driving a military humvee. The Wildcats can go a million mph over absolutely anything. Turning the Wildcats is a chore. I mean, they are significantly more nimble than the Deathwish 104 (which are the least nimble skis I've ever been on), but they definitely are not Chipotle Bananas in that regard. The Wildcats have soooo much junk in the trunk. You need to be a very strong skier to handle them. Wildcats can handle firm snow/groomers significantly better than the other two. Ghost Trains are too limp. Bananas are too full rockery and giant. If you want a ski for powdery trees, then the Bananas are unquestionably the correct choice here. If you want a powder ski that can plow through the crud the day after, get the Wildcats. If you want a limp noodle with a weird camber profile, get the Ghost Trains. TL;DR: Ghost Trains are crap, Wildcats are great but take a lot of strength, Bananas are perfection.”
