Best praise vs top criticism for Mizuno JPX923 Hot Metal Irons
“In my stupid opinion, As a -22, the thought should be to get the most help you can now. Not get clubs you can't hit and hope to grow into them. Modern game improvement clubs like the Hot Metals are plenty good for you to use a long time as you get better. The JPX Forge are definetly not what you need. Probably not even the P790's. I'd get the Hot Metals or look at the Srixong Zxi4's and Ping G440's. The only real answer is go hit some and see what you like, better yet get a fitting. Even if you don't buy from them, it'll be good info on what you need.”
“This!!! I am a 4.6 right not and got fitted into 923 hot metals last year. I tried a bunch of players irons and none felt as nice. Well now I’m having trouble holding greens with anything last like an 8 iron and I have no idea where I’m missing the ball. I think eventually I’ll move back to a more players iron. Huge shout to the steel fiber shafts I was fitted into. They are amazing and I can’t recommend them enough.”
