“There are many high end chair brands in Europe. They're just fairly unknown here because this sub is all US and the brands mainly sell to businesses sonthey don't really advertise. The following is a list someone posted way back of good EU brands. I would add Malmstolen to this. They make task chairs that are made for sitting in for extremely long periods.
